Spacekoncept Wall Beds Limited Warranty Policy
Spacekoncept emphasizes quality and sets high standards for ourselves and partners and stands behind its products and provides a full replacement warranty on hardware found to be defective because of issues relating to workmanship during manufacturing.
Spacekoncept brand products have a five-year factory warranty against manufacturing defects such as breakage, deformation or discoloration.
The warranty does not cover breakage, deformation, discoloration, wear and tear due to improper use or cleaning.
Any warranty provided by Spacekoncept is a limited warranty in respect of only detects in manufacturing or materials that appear under normal indoor residential use in Singapore. The replacement part must be returned to Spacekoncept for inspection before replacement can be considered.
Spacekoncept warrants all wood parts and mechanical parts on our Murphy Wall Beds to be free of defects in workmanship and materials. Warranty periods begin from date of purchase. We will repair or replace at our discretion any defective parts reported to us during this time period. This warranty is made assuming proper installation using the provided instructions. This warranty does not apply to any damage caused by misuse or failure to operate the Wall Bed correctly. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable and only applies to Murphy Wall Beds installed by Spacekoncept.
The duration of the warranty varies as follows:
Mechanism (gas piston only) – 3 years from the date of receipt of delivery
Mechanism and bed frame – 5 years from the date of receipt of delivery
Motor and actuators (if any) – 1 year from the date of receipt of delivery
Carcass cabinets (for customised plywood with laminates only) – 1 year from the date of installation completion
There will be a labour charge for the installation of mechanism or parts under warranty after the first year from the date of delivery if the bed is installed by Spacekoncept. This charge depends on the parts being replaced and is at the discretion of Spacekoncept.
Immediately from when Spacekoncept stops selling a particular model of bed, the warranty will cease to apply to that particular bed model.
This is the sole warranty offered by Spacekoncept for Murphy Wall Beds. There are no other warranties either expressed or implied by Spacekoncept. We are not liable for consequential or incidental damage. BUYER’S SOLE REMEDY SHALL BE LIMITED TO REPLACEMENT OF DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PARTS.

The Purchaser agrees to hire a qualified and insured assembly and installation specialist. Failure to follow all of the assembly and Installation instructions may result in injury. Spacekoncept Murphy Bed (Furniture by FJ & Joseph Pte Ltd) will not be responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages or injuries resulting from the failure to follow properly and carefully all instructions.
Mounting of furniture must be to the wall made of brick, concrete or similarly strong material. Wood or metal stud mounting is also acceptable.
Paper-mache and sheetrock like walls are not suitable. Do not mount furniture to paper-mache or sheetrock like material as improper mounting may cause injury to person(s) and damage to property.
When mounting on regular drywall, furniture must be fastened to wood or metal studs. Solid walls made of brick, concrete or similarly strong material are also acceptable. Do not mount furniture to paper-mache or sheetrock like material without properly fixing to studs.
Do not lean or rest heavy objects on the side or top of furniture. This may cause balance issues and compromise the integrity of your mounting connections.
Please use the furniture’s beds, desks, and shelving as intended. Not designed to be sat, stood, leaned, jumped (etc) on. Improper use may cause personal injury and damage to property.
Before any unmounting or disassembly please contact Spacekoncept for technical support and instruction. Failure to properly detach risks injury to person and damage to property.
It is important to remove excess pillows, blankets and fold headboard before closing unit. Failure to remove obstructions and then forcing operation of the unit may cause damage to property and/or person. If the bed is stuck, do not force it! Contact Spacekoncept.
